Befargo is a mining pool created to mine Fargocoins.
Fargocoin uses Proof of Stake technology.
Proof-of-stake (PoS) is a type of algorithm by which a cryptocurrency blockchain network aims to achieve distributed consensus. Unlike Proof-of-Work (PoW) based cryptocurrencies (such as bitcoin), where the algorithm rewards participants who solve complicated cryptographical puzzles in order to validate transactions and create new blocks (i.e. mining), in PoS-based cryptocurrencies the creator of the next block is chosen in a deterministic (pseudo-random) way, and the chance that an account is chosen depends on its wealth (i.e. the stake).
By using Proof of Stake method, the algorithm of crypto currency is more likely to select an account with a larger amount of coins in the account to confirm the next block in the chain. The oldest and largest sets of coins have a greater probability of signing the next block. This is the reason why Befargo mining pool created.
By purchasing the package in befargo.com every member receives shares (tokens) in mining pool.
When Befargo mining pool receives rewards for mining, incomes divides between all users who purchased shares.
